The agreement
By engaging Coastal Web Designs for design or development work, you agree to these terms.
Free mockup
Initial mockups are provided at no cost. They remain the property of Coastal Web Designs unless you proceed with a paid engagement, at which point ownership of the delivered final design transfers to you.
Payment
Projects are billed 50% on approval of the design and 50% on launch unless otherwise agreed in writing. Care plans are billed monthly and can be cancelled at any time.
Scope & revisions
Each project includes a reasonable number of revisions within the agreed scope. Significant changes outside the original scope may require an additional estimate.
Ownership
On final payment, you own the deployed website, content you provided, and your domain. Coastal Web Designs retains the right to display the work in its portfolio unless otherwise agreed.
Liability
Coastal Web Designs is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of any website we build. Hosting, third-party services, and DNS are the responsibility of their respective providers.
